Roc Eclerc is the second-largest French funeral home group. The group was sold by investment funds managed by Argos Soditic to a group of investors and managers. Gramond & Partners provided advice for Sandrine Thiefine, Group CEO, and other managers within the framework to this LBO.

Roc-Eclerc has a 12% market share and is the number one franchise with nearly 500 outlets in France and a turnover of €145 million.

Controlled by investment funds managed by Argos Soditic since 2005, the group was taken over by a group of investors led by Daniel Abittan, founder, including PhotoServices, Grand Optical, General d’Optique, Solaris, and Acuitis.

The operation carried out together with an increase in share capital from the Roc-Eclerc management team led by Sandrine Thiéfine.

Gramond & Partners represented Sandrine Thiefine and the managers in negotiating their management package and the shareholders’ agreement.
